This band is sooooo good. One of my current favorites. Highly recommended for the fans of Scandinavian and Japanese hc/crust. But they've got more '80s feel
than recent crust. Great record. I've got only a few in stock. It's got the thick-ass, craziest packaing I've ever seen. The vinyl comes in the large fold-out poster sleeve that comes inside of the outer sleeve and comes with the insert and a bunch of The Skuds crads and stuff. 500 copies pressed (250 on clear red/250 on black) I have a couple copies on clear red. Overhead Distro
The Skuds - Absurd 7" This is the thickest 7" packaged sleeve ever. There's inserts and posters and all kinds of stuff all on thick cardstock. They kinda sound the Exploited with a good thick heaviness, a clean driving yet thick metallic guitar sound, and gruff vocals that remind me of Watty, well just a bit. The second vocalist though has a throaty growling style which fits into the deep thick pummeling sound of this gritty dirgy punk band. I like what I here. 500 copies pressed, this one is on red. Man, do THE SKUDS love to party, Wooooodoggy, this poster has some funny stuff on it-people getting wasted, people passing out, and partyin' punks slammin'. THE SKUDS lead a party lifestyle and they play fast punk. It's sort of charging but it's not quite there; it's a mish-mash of diffrent party punk stylings all rolled into three dudes from Georgia who can't stop partying.

It's rare for bands to succeed at getting their name out through demo tapes these days, but it still happens from time to time in hardcore circles. Not unlike the Anti Difrancos, the Skuds got the word out through a series of stellar demo tapes. This debut six-song 7" of Scandinavian-sounding contemporary hardcore does not disappoint in the slightest. There are only 500 of these suckers out there, so get on board while there's still time.
